Your Guide
Wyatt Cunningham Wyatt has a degree in Controlled Environment Horticulture with a concentration in controlled environments from Colorado State University. Born and raised in Frisco, Colorado, Wyatt grew up foraging with his grandparents, where his love of mushrooms originated.
Over the past 5 years, he’s been focused on edible and medicinal species and how to find them. He is currently the manager of a mycology lab in Loveland. This is Wyatt’s 2nd year leading our mushroom foray. He is a wonderful facilitator of conversations about mushrooms and general mycology and will answer all of your questions. His specialty includes morels and the cultivation of various species of mushroom.
Your Chef
Andrew Tucker, Local Only Chefs Andrew moved to the Vail Valley in early 2023 and fell in love with the local producers, makers and businesses. He is a Colorado native and grew up in the Denver area. He has spent a decade in kitchens in Colorado and Oregon - 2 very active mushroom environments. He also lived in Okinawa, Japan for three years and was stationed with the @marines. And yes - Okinawa is a #BlueZone ~ where he absorbed everything he could from this long living culture.
With experience in Mediterranean, Italian and Japanese cuisines, he loves to combine his passion for creating unexpected dishes and bringing people together around a table. He believes some of the best moments happen around a good meal.
