Meet The Founder: Leslie Altman
About Leslie
Leslie brings over 30 years of experience in the outdoor industry, rooted in a lifelong passion for the Rocky Mountains. After earning a degree in Commercial Recreation from the University of Colorado Boulder, she began a career that blends adventure, hospitality, and healing.
She has held roles in guest services and mountain operations with Vail Resorts and worked with leading outdoor brands such as Patagonia, Fjällräven, and Backroads. Her connection to nature has always been personal—mountains have offered her a space for exploration, renewal, and deep spiritual connection.
Leslie’s frequent travels to Peru to work with her spiritual guides continue to enrich her understanding of sacred landscapes and their transformative power. She’s also a proud mother of two adult daughters, whose independence has opened space for her to reignite her professional path with renewed passion.
Most recently, Leslie consulted for Climax Revival, a privately owned backcountry hut and event venue. There, she led branding, built the website, and developed several business offerings aligned with the company’s vision. She also created and guided Moonlight Skin events, incorporating Letting Go Fire ceremonies that helped guests reconnect with their own inner backcountry.
